KA-PAM 1200 Monoblock
For those who will settle for nothing less than the ultimate, we have created most sophisticated component in balanced mono design with pink noise power output of 1,200/2,000/3,600 W into 8/4/2 Ohm, for natural sound reproduction.
Our ultimate statement, using 24k gold plated circuit boards, with all of our knowledge and experience built into it. There could be no other way – as the central unit in an audio chain, it simply demands the best. -Completely balanced, dual mono circuit topology -All stages are DC coupled and operate in true pure class A -In order to avoid inherent nonlinearities of potentiometers, this preamp uses a four-gang attenuator, with 64 positions, implemented by using highest quality vacuum relays and fixed value 0.1% tolerance metal film resistors -Due to high sensitivity to interference of preamplifiers, the power supply has been relegated to a separate case of its own, and has been made ultra stable using four stabilization levels per channel – The preamp is remote controllable; – An ultra high precision optional MM/MC phono RIAA board is available, with a response precision of +/- 0.1 dB -Overall frequency response of line inputs is DC-300kHz, +0, -3dB -Intermodulation distortion is below 0.006% – Line level input S/N ratio is better than -118 dB -MM input S/N ratio is better than -90dB, MC input S/N ratio is better than -81dB; -Output impedance is only 0.6 Ohms -Dimensions 500x90x310 mm (19.7″x3.6″x12.2″) W x H x D, each case -Net weight 24 kg (app. 55.2 lbs)
This integrated amplifier completely reflects our views of what good sound should be like, sacrificing nothing to quality, but in a more modest package for situations when space is at a premium. Also, we recognize the fact that not everybody needs, or can afford, the most powerful of amplifiers we make. Its basic characteristics are: A completely balanced topology – Channel separated power supplies from a 600 VA toroidal power transformer, 80.000 m F filter bank and four stages of voltage stabilization – Frequency response DC-300kHz +0, -3dB -S/N ratio better than -112 dB -Intermodulation distortion less than 0.03% at rated power into 8 Ohms -Damping factor better than 1,200 into 8 Ohms, 20Hz…20kHz -Pink noise RMS power 180/300W into 8/4 Ohms -Dimensions 500x90x310 mm (19.7″x3.6″x12.2″) W x H x D -Net weight 16 kg (app. 36.7 lbs)
DAC – upsampler 24bit/96kHz
This is the latest generation DAC using upsampling, turning ordinary CD music into 24bit/96kHz format, which allows for a significantly better sound from your existing 16-bit CD recordings. The DA converter itself uses a fully balanced topology, with four Burr-Brown PCM-1704 processors (two per channel), with an overall dynamic range of 126 dB. The built-in clock generator has an accuracy level of only 2 ppm. Only ultra fast, latest generation current-to-voltage converters are used. Three separate power supplies, including transformers, one for the digital and two for the analog sections using super fast slow recovery diodes in rectifiers. Output stage in fully balanced, pure class A topology. Optical, coaxial and AES/EBU digital inputs. Dimensions 500x90x310 mm (19.7″x3.6″x12.2″) W x H x D -Net weight 9 kg (app. 20 lbs)
Quite simply, it makes digital much more alike to natural sound.
LOUDSPEAKER – Master Reference
We proudly present the final form of our reference loudspeaker, which comes as the crown of our 15 years of operation and its development. It is, we believe, the ultimate statement in sound reproduction. Using extraordinary attention, selected top flight components, studio standard drive units, ultra fast response MKP-QS capacitors, air core chokes, anti resonant sandwich cabinet panels, we have obtained a modern, dynamic and above all, natural sound, surpassed only by musical instruments themselves.
This speaker exhibits extraordinarily linear acoustic phase properties, with an effective response of 24Hz-21kHz +/- 1.5 dB, a sensitivity of 95 dB/1W/1m, and a continuous pink noise power handling of 600W.
Dimensions 1,480x420x750 mm (58.3″x16.5″x29.5″) H x W x D – Net weight 270 kg (app. 621 lbs) per speaker.
As an accessory, we offer this line filter. It will work with currents of up to 25 Amperes, or up to over 5 kilowatts. While we recommend them for our own equipment, they will work well with any other equipment you may already have. Inserting this filter will allow you to have an expanded sound stage
and clearer sound, especially in the treble range.
Our vibration absorber is having its resonantfrequency well out of the audio spectrum.
Most of its parts are off the shelf items.
Outside shape and material choice are left to your imagination.
Sturdy aluminium rack parts are meant for an easy assembly. They are made upon order and their length is defined by you.
